ADEX 2013 Platinum award winning product Elliot James have been awarded an ADEX award for design excellence in furniture design for our unique SYNC modular seating system. Ideal for large scale living, retail, commercial and hospitality spaces, SYNC consists of an infinite number of cubes situated on gas springs. When weight is applied the cubes sink to reveal back and arm rests from the surrounding cubes. Available in an endless number of finishes and covers, the system is extremely adaptable and ideal when creating a focal and statement piece within an interior.

At Elliot James we’re always on the look out for that statement piece that will really set the tone for the overall design style. Recently, whilst sourcing a set of lounging chairs for an entrance hall of a home, we came across these studded Jacobsen Swan chairs available from Fred Lives Here. Perfect for adding impact when entering the home and giving a clear and distinct style for the foyer. These will look amazing sitting either side of a floor-to-ceiling mirror and console table. Classic but edgy! Fred’s take on a reproduction Swan Chair involves perfect brass spikes from the U.S.A, a fibreglass shell interior and genuine Aniline leather.
